Overview
Franklin Delano Roosevelt was one of the most influential presidents in the history of America, being the most loved and the most hated of the presidents. Among the most brightest of presidents, Roosevelt left the greatest legacy of any in the 20th century because he took the responsibility of the country when we were going through war. He was the only president to have been elected by the American people four times. At the time of his death, all anyone could think of was his name and his presidency. He might have been the most well-known president in the American History, but it wasn't an easy task getting to that level of popularity.
Accomplishments
Franklin D. Roosevelt is remembered for his astonishing accomplishments and his remarkable leadership during World War II. He was significant for establishing a responsible government, creating multiple programs that are taken for granted to this day. providing support in laying the foundation in the United Nations, and etc.. In his Inaugural Address, he had stated his big hopes for the country, and he also elaborated on his ideas and goals to help establish an honorable reputation for the United States. As a result of his Inaugural Address, the federal government greatly expanded its power to regulate the economy. In "The Call for Federal Responsibility Speech," he gave a warning to the federal government that they should invest in developing poor cities in the United States of America instead of staying idle about the problem. Under the leadership of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the United States made a conclusive break from prewar isolationism. America took leadership in organizing and concluding the United Nations in the July 1944 Bretton Woods conference in New Hampshire. This resoluted in the new international economic agreements that, as a result, secured the world economy to the U.S. currency, the dollar. Due to his establishment of a wealthy economy, the United States was able to pay off the war debt, which other nations were unable to take care of. Franklin D. Roosevelt believed in maintaining good foreign relationships with other countries while also maintaining isolationism. Such accomplishments include: he proposed the Lend-Lease Act, which allowed the United States to accept payment that isn't cash for the military and other aid to Britain and its allies, and he proposed the Good Neighbor Policy, which improved U.S. relations with Latin America, and backed opposite agreements to decrease the trade barriers between the United States and other nations. Although he accepted the Neutrality Act of 1935, which were laws that limited U.S. citizens in being too involved with foreign affairs, he warned Americans of the risk of remaining secluded from a world increasingly jeopardized by the dictatorial rulings in other nations. Such events would eventually lead to the everlasting remembrance of him by the American people.

The achievements left behind by Franklin D. Roosevelt has made an immense impact on the United States of America. As said before, Franklin D. Roosevelt has been the only president, in the history of the United States of America, to be elected four times to serve for presidency. When President Roosevelt passed away, the government passed a law stating that no president shall serve for more than two terms for president. From that day to today, every president has been elected, at the most, two times. During Franklin D. Roosevelt's presidency, he encouraged the American people to maintain foreign relationships, and he also tried to maintain good foreign relationships. Because he kept good relationships with the Allies, we, today, STILL, have a great reputation in the eyes of our Allies. Franklin D. Roosevelt will definitely be an unforgettable person, and has gone down in history.

This was Franklin D. Roosevelt's first election. Then, in the map titled "Election of 1944," Franklin D. Roosevelt was running against Thomas E. Dewey, and he won by 432 electoral votes while Dewey only had 99 electoral votes. This was Franklin D. Roosevelt's fourth election. Although Roosevelt had 4o electoral votes less than the 1932 election, he was still widely popular across the United States.
